Yoga Sutra Sadhana (Study and Practice)

Sunday mornings, 8:30 to 10:15 am
Vibuti Pada
Drop Ins welcome

For the next several months we will probe into the story and insights of the Bhagavad Gita. We will explore the many spiritual paths taught by Krishna to Arjuna in this religious classic: the Yogas of Knowledge, Action, and Devotion. Bring a copy of the text, and if possible obtain this version: http://www.sunypress.edu/details.asp?id=61923

Drop-ins are welcome; this is an ongoing class that welcomes newcomers. We open with movement, breathing, and concentration (dharana), and then engage in the study and discussion of passages from the Gita. We begin and end each class with easy-to-learn Sanskrit recitation.

Suggested weekly donation: $10.
